French 1 - This course provides an introduction to the five Cs: communication (speaking, listening, reading, writing); culture (understanding of the people, practices, products, and perspectives); connections (with other subject areas); comparisons (own culture.language with another); and communities (using language beyond the school setting for personal and career development).

French 2 - Students will further explore the five Cs at the intermediate proficiency level; communication (speaking, listening, reading, writing); culture (understanding of the people, practices, products, and perspectives); connections (with other subject areas); comparisons (own culture.language with another); and communities (using language beyond the school setting for personal and career development).

French 2 Pre-AP - Pre-AP is designed for students with high academic interest and a strong work ethic.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Level 1

French 3 Pre-AP - Students will further explore the five Cs at the advanced proficiency level: communication (speaking, listening, reading, writing); culture (understanding of the people, practices, products, and perspectives); connections (with other subject areas); comparisons (own culture.language with another); and communities (using language beyond the school setting for personal and career development).

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Level 1 and 2

French 4 AP - This college level course prepares students to take the advanced placement test for possible college credit. Students will further explore the five Cs at the advanced proficiency level: communication (speaking, listening, reading, writing); culture (understanding of the people, practices, products, and perspectives); connections (with other subject areas); comparisons (own culture.language with another); and communities (using language beyond the school setting for personal and career development).
