Eight Comal ISD athletes took pen to paper on February 6, signing the national letters of intent to play their sport at the next level. Congratulations to all of our athletes!

Entering high school can seem a little overwhelming, but Comal ISD has streamlined one of the biggest hurdles facing incoming freshmen with #Plan4MyFuture Nights.

First Lego League teams representing every elementary Comal ISD campus put their hard work to the test Saturday during a district-wide tournament. Robots, projects and core values were judged based on this year's "Into Orbit" theme.

Individual and team honors were awarded recently during the first of three district-wide Chess Tournaments. The first tournament was hosted at Canyon Lake High School. The next is scheduled for Feb. 23 at Smithson Valley High School followed by the final tournament on March 23 at Canyon High.

It's not too late to get started on those New Year's Resolutions especially if one of them includes getting involved with Comal ISD.

The competition is fierce for Comal ISD's 2nd Annual Geography Bee. Geography Bee champions from each middle school will qualify to take an online test to determine whether they will compete for the state bee.
