It is my privilege to welcome students to College History, a dual credit course offered through a partnership between Comal ISD and Northeast Lakeview College. This program allows high school students to earn college credit while experiencing the rigor and expectations of a true college-level history course. Students will be challenged to engage with complex texts, think critically about the past, and take responsibility for their own academic progress.

 

For parents and guardians, I have attached the course syllabus and reading calendar. These documents outline the structure, expectations, and pacing of the course. While I am sharing them for your awareness, students are responsible for monitoring due dates, advocating for themselves, and communicating directly with me regarding academic matters—just as they would in a traditional college setting.
