About Me:

Hi everyone! I'm excited to be your World History teacher this year.

Before becoming a teacher, I served in the military, which gave me the opportunity to travel the world and experience many different cultures firsthand. These experiences have shaped the way I teach history. I believe that understanding the past helps us make sense of the present—and I love bringing real-world connections into our classroom.

In our class, we'll dive into the stories, struggles, and achievements that have shaped human history. I’m especially passionate about helping students think critically, ask thoughtful questions, and see the world from different perspectives.

I’m looking forward to a great year filled with curiosity, respectful discussion, and growth—for all of us. Let’s make it meaningful, engaging, and maybe even a little fun.

Communication: 

Communication is key for the success of everyone in the class. Assignments and Course Materials will be posted to Google Classroom. Any major announcements will be posted through ParentSquare. If you have any questions for me, please feel free to reach out to the provided email. I check my email from 8am through 6pm. Please give me 48 hours to respond to any emails. If the matter is urgent, call the provided number. I will do my best to respond as soon as possible.

Tutorial Hours: 

Monday + Wednesday: 8:00am - 8:30am

Tuesday + Thursday: 4:30pm - 5:00pm

Coog Time: 10:45am - 11:12am
